Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ServiceNow Platform Analyst position. This is a 12 month contract opportunity based in Buffalo NY and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
This role requires strong experience with ServiceNow modules including EA HAM SAM and CSDM principles. The Platform Analyst will support the ongoing evolution of the IT Asset Management team by contributing to the maturity and migration of these ServiceNow modules while also supporting day-to-day operational control activities. The position involves frequent collaboration and communication with both internal and external teams making clear consistent communication critical to success.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Respond to and resolve complex help desk escalations and technical incidents
- Analyze system trends and partner with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and solutions
- Create document and maintain procedures for work orders requests and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform system maintenance activities following SOPs including patching health checks OS updates and validation
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to reduce operational risk
- Participate in cross-functional project work and lead technical efforts within assigned initiatives
- Train and mentor less experienced team members
- Support evening or off-hours responsibilities as scheduled
- Automate processes to improve system efficiency availability and security
- Provide recommendations and resolve complex issues within established practices
- Support capacity planning and long-term infrastructure strategy development
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues in alignment with regulatory and control standards
What Youll Need to Have:
- Experience with ServiceNow modules including Enterprise Asset Management (EA) Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Software Asset Management (SAM) and CSDM principles
- Strong business technical and data analytics capabilities
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Minimum of 8 years combined higher education and/or relevant work experience
- Experience reading interpreting and applying technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong customer focus with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prior project management experience
Pay Range:$51-$66hr
