Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their Nuclear operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge nuclear technology while managing complex sourcing agreements and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of sourcing experience with specific expertise in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities

Execute complex sourcing processes and implement sourcing policies and programs
Develop and execute sophisticated sourcing agreements with unique terms and conditions
Lead supplier selection contract negotiations and performance evaluation initiatives
Drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives
Conduct comprehensive supplier relationship management and industry analysis
Perform in-depth supplier performance analysis and contract management
Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and key suppliers
Ensure all business dealings comply with corporate legal and environmental regulations

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or related field (MBA highly preferred)
5 years of sourcing experience with demonstrated success
In-depth knowledge of the Nuclear industry specifically engineering-related aspects
Proven ability to independently manage complex sourcing agreements
Strong negotiation and commercial terms optimization skills
Experience with strategic sourcing and cost reduction initiatives
Excellent relationship management and communication skills
