Job Summary
Summary
This position is located at Grant Hall.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Cleans rooms corridors stairways and other areas.
- Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs drapes etc.
- Cleans disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities.
- Sweeps mops vacuums scrubs strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.
- Washes walls windows blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders scaffolds and safety belt.
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para2.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include evenings weekends and holidays (this business operates between the hours of 2:30PM and 10:30PM).
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Must have knowledge skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade to keep the assigned work area neat and clean and to communicate both orally and in writing
Skills and Knowledge: Must have the ability to follow instructions and read signs. Must have a basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents cleaning tools and equipment. Must know the proper uses of a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and must be able to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. Must be able to troubleshoot make adjustments and perform minor repair and maintenance of equipment.

Initial Cut-Off Date: Wednesday January 28th 2026 (Applications must be received by 11:59 PM EST). - Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Governments interest.
- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time regular part-time and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
