The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment selection Under-Represented Groups outreach and the national career centre.

- The Senior sS Lead military advisor to both OF and OR candidates.

- Aid Senior Recruiters in nurturing candidates through their recruiting journey from point of application to entry into the Service.
| |
- Engage support and inform candidates through the assessment and entry process by sharing lived experience of Service life.
| |
- Contribute to scoping and production of material for Assessment Centre and entry preparation communications briefs and webinars.
| |
- Deliver preparatory briefs and webinars to candidates attending Assessment Centres and for entry into Phase 1 training.
| |
- Ensure that accurate records are maintained for all candidates using appropriate systems.
| |
- Oversight of administrative support activities within the Recruiter Candidate Experience team as directed by the HQ AFR.
| |
- Line Management and Reporting Officer responsibilities.
