REQUIREMENTS: Chapter 74 license Drafting Grade 9-14 License
Associate degree or higher degree related to the subject matter and skills to be taught-viewand Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to the field of the license soughtviewand Passing score on each test (written test performance test) in draftingviewand Literacy Skills Test Advisoryviewand Achieve a passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test (VTLST).

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets and instructs assigned students in designated locations and times.
- Develops and maintains an environment conducive to effective learning.
- Prepare for assigned classes and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of superior.
- Assists students to set and maintain standards of appropriate behavior.
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media to meet the needs of the students
- Implements the districts philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.
- Evaluates student progress on a continuing basis.
- Maintain accurate complete and correct records as required by law district policy and administrative regulation.
- Enforces school rules administrative regulations and board policy.
- Is available to meet with students and parents for education related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so.
- Participates in faculty meetings.
- Cooperates with other members of the staff in planning instructional goals objectives and methods.
- Assists in the selection of books equipment and other instructional materials.
- Maintains open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning their educational and behavioral progress.
- Participates in staff and faculty meetings.
- Participates in the evaluation process.
- Performs other duties as needed.
