On the Med Surg floor youll perform comprehensive nursing care for adults with a wide array of medical conditions including acute illness post-op recovery dehydration chest pain infectious disease isolation and chronic disease management. Your responsibilities will include initial and ongoing clinical assessments timely medication administration IV therapy wound care monitoring vitals and escalation of care when needed. Youll collaborate with physicians case managers and therapists to develop individualized care plans coordinate testing and procedures and facilitate safe and efficient discharges.
