The purpose of this position is: to serve as the Executive Director for the 365th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group (ISR Group) and the principal advisor to the commander on day-to-day operations while maintaining the forward direction of the organization mission. Leads planning developing and coordinating resources and support through direct oversight of a variety of functions and projects across the Group.

DUTY 1: Plans organizes and directs the activities of the Group and provides oversight and direction ensuring that operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
DUTY 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over civilian and military personnel. Directs coordinates and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
DUTY 3: Represents the Group at meetings. Provides input to study groups and panels pertaining to responsibilities and future plans.
DUTY 4: Directs and/or leads broad studies involving resources organization and operations across the entirety of the group enterprise.
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the Supervision/Management work category are at the Senior work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectees salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectees qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions Administrative and Management Positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge skills abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include knowledge of a wide range of concepts principles and practices in a professional or administrative occupation such as would be gained through extended graduate study or experience and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments; or a comprehensive intensive practical knowledge of a technical field and skill in applying this knowledge to the development of new methods approaches or procedures. Uses judgment resourcefulness and initiative in adapting and applying guidelines and is responsible for analyzing results and recommending changes to deal with the more difficult or unusual assignments. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience experience gained in the private sector or experience gained in another government agency.
