Job Summary
The Billing Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of billing processes within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Review daily charges for completeness.
Notify clinical staff of incomplete charges.
Review all missing information reports and provide data.
Prepare insurance authorization request packets and send them for review.
Assist Texas Oncology billing and authorization departments with requests for information.
Assist all outside labs radiology etc. with requests for billing information.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma required.
Bachelors degree from an accredited university is preferred.
3 years of billing experience required.
Varian experience preferred.
Clinical Research experience preferred.
