Job Summary

Machine Driver Groundworks (8T / 14T Excavator)

Coinford are specialists in groundworks and concrete frame construction delivering high-quality projects across the UK. We are currently looking for experienced Machine Drivers to operate 8T or 14T excavators on our groundworks sites.

This role suits a reliable operator with solid groundworks experience who can work safely follow instructions and support day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating 8T or 14T excavators safely and efficiently
Carrying out general groundworks duties including excavation backfilling trimming and levelling
Working to drawings levels and site instructions
Assisting with drainage foundations and external works as required
Working safely around other plant operatives and live services
Completing daily machine checks and reporting defects
Keeping the machine clean safe and well maintained
Supporting the site team to meet programme requirements

Essential Experience & Requirements:

Proven experience operating 8T or 14T excavators on groundworks sites
CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (relevant category)
Good understanding of health & safety on site
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable punctual and professional approach
