Job Summary

Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant (1.0)
Term: Mid-February 2026 June 2026

Holy Ghost School is currently welcoming applications for a full-time Educational Assistant to support students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. This role involves working with students both individually and in small or large group settings within and outside the classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Educational Assistant Certification or currently working toward certification
Experience working with children in Grades K8
Ability to support students with academic behavioural social and emotional needs
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong organization and time-management skills
A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and faith-based values
Willingness to adapt to changing student and classroom needs
Assets include:
Experience supporting students with learning disabilities autism or other special needs
Non-violent crisis intervention training (WEVAS / NVCI)
First Aid and/or CPR certification
Early Childhood Educator Certificate
