About the team:
As we are expanding internationally at a high pace you will be at the centre of our business development - this is a very exciting time to join Catawiki!
Our Engineering teams are interdisciplinary: you will cooperate directly with Backend Frontend iOS and Android Engineers and together you and your team are responsible for all functionality of our Catawiki apps and our web app within the teams product domain. You will create software that helps our buyers and our sellers by delivering new features and reducing user friction. Apart from the Engineers your other team members include a UX Designer Product Manager and your Tech Lead Manager who leads and guides the Engineers on a daily basis.
What youll do:
Here at Catawiki you will make an impact by improving and delivering product innovations for the Catawiki platform. Along with other Engineering team members you will build beautiful and adaptable native mobile app features on top of scalable microservices. These serve both our sellers and our buyers. Youll ensure that your features work well on all recent iOS and iPadOS devices and recent OS versions. You keep track of system performance and optimise it where needed.
In addition you will use A/B experiments agreed upon with your Product Manager and User Experience Designer and backed by data analysis to add product features and deliver the best user experience on the platform.

You are an iOS Engineer with extensive experience with Swift and Cocoa Touch frameworks (UIKit and SwiftUI) with an impressive portfolio of past mobile deliveries and eager to expand your knowledge and impact ready to take the next step in your career. We look for Engineers who are motivated to learn new things ship new features and pursue new and interesting challenges. Our iOS stack is fully Swift-based our screens are both UIKit and SwiftUI and we use the VIPER architecture.
Additionally:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an iOS Engineer using Swift as your main stack.
Proven experience working in product companies and collaborating closely with other engineers and product managers to become a valued member of an autonomous cross-functional team.
Experience in designing and implementing features with a focus on stability performance and consistency.
You are proficient in native technologies - SwiftUI UIKit and the Swift standard library.
You are routinely apply object-oriented and functional imperative and declarative programming paradigms where needed.
You have experience with testing frameworks - XCTest XCUITest Quick & Nimble snapshot testing and/or Swift Testing.
You have an understanding of good programming principles - SOLID DRY - and have a good problem-solving approach and mindset.
You can discuss and propose API designs with engineers with a focus on user-friendliness and long term benefits.
When building features you consider performance testing security localisation accessibility observability.
You know how to monitor and manage an application in production: you build it you run it you love it!
