Job Summary

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Highway Engineering or a related discipline
710 years of relevant experience in road highway or infrastructure projects
At least 35 years of experience in the construction phase with responsibility for inspection of: access roads haul roads and permanent roads for hydropower project
Proven experience inspecting: earthworks embankments and cut slopes pavement works (subgrade sub-base base course asphalt or concrete pavement)
Drainage structures culverts and retaining structures
Experience working with: contractors supervision consultants and site engineers
Experience under EPC DesignBuild or FIDIC-based contracts is an advantage
Strong ability to: Inspect and monitor road construction works in accordance with approved drawings specifications and method statements; Verify material quality workmanship and compliance with testing requirements
Skilled in checking: Alignment levels cross-sections and pavement thicknesses;
Compaction results and field density tests
Ability to: Construction defects safety hazards and non-compliance issues
Competent in: Maintaining site inspection records daily logs and photo documentation;
Assisting in preparation of inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Good coordination and communication skills with site personnel
