About the Role

We are expanding our Payments team and are looking for an experienced Product Owner Payments to help shape the future of our SAP-integrated Payments products. As part of our growing team you will collaborate closely with the Product Manager Payments and cross-functional stakeholders to build innovative customer-centric solutions with long-term impact.

Your Responsibilities

Build and maintain expert-level knowledge of the Payments business domain gathering and analysing data to define precise product specifications.
Ensure Payments products align with the companys strategic goals vision and business objectives.
Own and continuously refine the product roadmap communicating priorities and progress to stakeholders.
Drive and manage the product backlog ensuring a logical value-driven progression of work.
Take accountability for achieving release timelines and delivering key product epics.
Proactively contribute to long-term roadmap planning shaping the customer proposition 35 years ahead.
Communicate effectively across cultures adjusting style detail level and formality as needed.
Operate independently within the scope of the role and proactively identify risks opportunities and improvements.

Your Profile

Technical & Professional Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance Computer Science or a related field.
PSPO CSPPO or similar certification is a strong plus.

Skills Experience & Competencies

Solid understanding of product and project management concepts and methodologies.
Strong customer-focus with the ability to translate user needs into clear technical requirements.
Familiarity with Payments regulatory requirements and the capability to convert these into product features.
Strong numerical reasoning analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Creativity innovation drive and an interest in working with evolving technologies.
Knowledge of one or more relevant programming languages frameworks or databases.
Ability to adapt to change manage pressure multitask and make informed decisions.
Preferred experience with SAP and B2B Payments.
Excellent communication skills in German and English.
Experience in Treasury or Cash Management is a plus.
