At Hiquest Medical a full-service diagnostic center and medical care clinic located in the historic neighborhood of San Mateo we are committed to providing fast effective and affordable treatment for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. We are currently seeking a dedicated Data Entry professional to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update patient data in our electronic health record system.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all medical records.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documents as required by management.
- Perform regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to inquiries regarding patient data and assist various departments with data-related tasks.
- Maintain and manage databases ensuring that data is accessible and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data entry procedures and workflows.
- Support administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.
Desired Experience
- Previous experience in data entry particularly within a medical or clinical environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare terminology is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with database management and reporting tools is a plus.
