Principal Accountabilities

  • Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
  • Work around slippery surfaces and moving mechanical equipment
  • Operate in warm or cool conditions depending on assigned area
  • Ability to stand walk or sit for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to climb stairs regularly
  • Ability to read and record temperatures using a thermometer
  • Communicate professionally with production and management teams
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read write and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic math: addition subtraction multiplication and division
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including production and management
  • Previous experience using a computer for data entry or documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Food safety knowledge or prior work in a food production environment
