The Opportunity to Make a Difference
In this internship you will contribute to projects that elevate the patient voice strengthen operational excellence and support impactful partnerships across the rare disease community. You will gain broad exposure across patient engagement program operations grants processes and cross-functional collaboration helping advance Sareptas mission to support patients and families.
Key areas of contribution include:
Supporting the Route 79 Duchenne Scholarship Program including selection committee coordination content development and patientvoice integration
Assisting with Patient Affairs operational initiatives such as Patient Voice Events metrics tracking internal and external communications conference engagement execution etc.
Supporting Grants & Sponsorships operations including tracking submissions preparing committee materials and responding to internal updates
Contributing to Sareptas Patient Science Center SareptAcademy through content generation framework planning and logistical support
Streamlining patient insights and identifying company-wide approaches to share actionable insights including through the continued development of the patient insights AI platform
Attending department meetings virtual community events and a selection of other meetings for exposure to the drug development process and community considerations
Sculpting and producing a cornerstone project with the help of Patient Affairs team
More about You
Bachelors degree candidates who have completed at least their sophomore year ideally pursuing a degree in a STEM field public health communications or a related discipline
Ability to report to Cambridge MA office on a weekly or biweekly basis
Interest in patient education research and development and rare disease
Interest in unique therapies and the ability to understand scientific concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to engage with diverse audiences
Experience in project management
Compassion empathy curiosity the ability to listen

Highly organized proactive and detailoriented

Program Timeline
This application is for a 12-week summer internship program that will start on May 18th and conclude on August 7th 2026.
