Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format): Ultrasound Tech - $2800/wkly
- Perform quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound exams in accordance with prescribed protocols
- Ensure accurate imaging information for diagnosis and treatment purposes
- Responsible for conducting ultrasound and diagnostic radiology exams ordered within the hospital
- Maintain competency in diagnostic radiology and ultrasound procedures
- Participate in the development of department policies and procedures
- Manage supplies and inventory related to imaging services
- Foster positive relationships with physicians and patients
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of imaging areas
- Deliver quality customer service-focused patient care
- Adhere to all radiology and ultrasound policies and procedures including image acquisition and equipment operation
- Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality
- Complete clerical tasks and maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in cross-training opportunities as needed
- Work weeknight graveyard shifts (Monday Thursday 9 PM 7 AM)
- Must be ARDMS board-eligible and hold applicable certifications (e.g. BLS/BCLS ARDMS ARRT RDCS)
