Lansing, MI IT DTMB Agency Services DHHS Business Process Reengineering

The Senior Application & Business Process SME will serve as a key contributor in analyzing designing and supporting complex business applications and systems. This role requires deep expertise in business and systems analysis Agile methodologies Azure DevOps and security compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application and business processes providing strategic guidance and analysis across initiatives.

• Perform business and systems analysis to gather document and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Utilize Azure DevOps for pipeline management backlog tracking and managing work items using multiple views and reporting tools.

• Support Agile and SEM/SUITE methodologies participating in sprint planning grooming retrospectives and delivery cycles.

• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and support compliance with NIST controls.

• Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes audits and security documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers security teams project managers and stakeholders.

• Ensure solutions align with organizational standards compliance requirements and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12 years of experience as an Application and Business Process SME including Business Analyst and Systems Analyst roles.

• 10 years of experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines work item tracking dashboards and reporting).

• 10 years of experience working in Agile environments.

• 10 years of experience with SEM/SUITE methodologies.

• 5 years of experience with System Security Plans (SSP) NIST controls and ATO processes.

• Strong documentation communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information:

• Accepting local candidates and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.

• Candidates must be available to work onsite two days per week from the start date.
