Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer (Martech)

Location: Greater Houston TX

Length: 10 months

Must Have Experience:

Hands-on experience with MarTech platforms and at least one of the following CDPs:
Adobe (Real-Time CDP)
Salesforce (Data Cloud)
Treasure Data
Tealium
Twilio Segment
Amperity
Project/Industry Experience:

Martech/Retail background
Technical Leadership & Architecture:
Own the end-to-end CDP architecture with a primary focus on customer unification and ID resolution.
Define and govern identity resolution frameworks including deterministic and probabilistic matching strategies.
Design and maintain enterprise-scale identity graphs and golden customer records.
Establish best practices for data modeling ingestion transformation and unification on BigQuery.
Lead architectural decisions around batch and near-real-time data pipelines.

Delivery & Execution:
Lead the development of scalable performant pipelines using BigQuery and GCP data services.
Ensure data quality consistency lineage and observability across customer datasets.
Optimize BigQuery usage for performance scalability and cost efficiency.
Oversee integrations with downstream systems such as marketing platforms analytics tools and activation channels.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
Partner with Marketing Analytics Product and Engineering teams to translate business needs into CDP solutions.
Act as a technical mentor and reviewer for CDP and data engineering team members.
Drive alignment on customer identity standards across teams and platforms.
Provide technical guidance on CDP roadmap enhancements and platform evolution.

Governance & Compliance:
Define and enforce data governance privacy and consent management standards.
Ensure compliant handling of PII and adherence to regulatory requirements (GDPR CCPA etc.).
Establish documentation and knowledge-sharing practices for identity logic and data flows.
