Job Summary:
The Instrumentation Engineer SR role involves serving as the Responsible Design Engineer and Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes. This includes providing technical oversight of design products acting as the primary design engineer interface performing site walk downs supporting SAT and FAT and assisting in cost estimate preparation.

This includes providing technical oversight of design products acting as the primary design engineer interface performing site walk downs supporting SAT and FAT and assisting in cost estimate preparation.
Location:Waynesboro Georgia United States
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Responsible Design Engineer for assigned design changes.
- Serve as the Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes.
- Provide technical oversight of design products (I&C drawings calculations and other documentation).
- Act as the primary design engineer interface between all other engineering disciplines vendors and stakeholders.
- Perform and assist in Site walk downs.
- Support SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
- Support preparation of cost estimates and scoping.
- Manage mid-size to large-scale projects from the engineering deliverables perspective.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Accredited bachelors engineering degree.
- 8 years of related experience.
- Solid electrical knowledge.
- Experience reading electrical/controls drawings.
- Experience checking cables and wiring in the field.
- Experience with cost estimating.
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Decision-making skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff and/or vendors.
