Medical Program Coordinator - Front Range
Reports to: Medical Director
Job Category: Hourly Non-Exempt Full-Time
Salary Range: $22-$26.50/hour DOE
Job Site: Foundry Front Range - Broomfield
Job Summary:
The Medical Program Coordinator partners with a multidisciplinary team to help manage and support various systems and processes across medical sites that are instrumental in providing a safe and therapeutic environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years proven experience in a program coordinator position preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of the behavioral healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of insurance and billing.
- Experience with accounting/ordering systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid unrestricted Drivers License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to listen well and offer solutions.
- Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to think creatively and share ideas.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must enjoy working with data and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Adept at quickly learning new systems and platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the orientation process of incoming clients.
- Collect and analyze program evaluation and client feedback; compile program evaluation results and metrics.
- Lend general support to nursing and medical staff.
- Coordinate on- and off-site events (e.g. medical appointments dentist program etc.).
- Help implement program changes.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
- Event and meeting management duties as assigned.
- Assist with ordering supplies.
- Provide consistent and efficient direct operational support to the Medical Director.
- Monitor quality assurance in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations making suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality HIPAA and 42CFR Part 2 compliance.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing sitting bending reaching climbing stairs typing speaking hearing seeing.
- Exposure to a clinical and medical environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Driving in all weather conditions.
