Principle Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions)

• Act for department supervisor in his/her absence
• Help to plan organize delegate and follow-up with associates job duties to be completed
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
• Ensure that all areas of responsibility are running in a safe orderly effective manner
• Assist the supervisor with interviewing and hiring new associates
• Perform own sanitation tasks while ensuring that all crew tasks are accomplished to standard
• Train other sanitation associates and or sub-contracted crew on sanitation tasks
• Ensure that the crew understands and follows safe work practicesResponsible for OSHA Compliance and Regulations
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory
• Provide research and advise management on equipment and supply purchases
• Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on cleaning equipment
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work groupor campus that will maximize efficiency productivity and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with company standards in the areas of accuracy safety and productivity
• Understanding of Food Safety handling techniques practices and expectations for the work environment.

Knowledge

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office for data entry and research purposes

• Demonstrate effective and successful leadership skills
• Meet production standards set by the company
• Read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Must be able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritizemultiple task in a fast-paced environment
• Reach stoop bend and lift up to and including 60 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. cool temperatures concrete floors poweredindustrial trucks)

Education

• High School education
• Certified on a powered industrial equipment where applicable

Experience

• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment preferred
