Job Summary

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot Microservices architecture and Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for designing developing and deploying scalable and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of modern cloud-based architectures and a passion for clean code DevOps practices and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Java 17 Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud using services like App Services AKS Azure Functions Azure Cosmos DB Azure DevOps etc.
Implement RESTful APIs asynchronous messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
Optimize applications for performance scalability and maintainability.
Collaborate with product owners architects and QA to deliver quality software following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Monitor applications in production using App Insights Prometheus/Grafana ELK Stack etc.
Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.

Required Skills:
10 years of experience in Java development with strong OOP concepts and design patterns.
Expertise in Spring Boot Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and API Gateway concepts.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services especially:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Cosmos DB / SQL / Blob Storage
- Azure DevOps (Pipelines Repos)

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB Cosmos DB).
Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit Mockito) and code quality tools (SonarQube Checkstyle).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-204 AZ-400 AZ-305)
Experience with Terraform Helm or other infrastructure-as-code tools
Knowledge of CI/CD best practices
Experience in performance tuning and security hardening
