Job Summary
*** Local Temp to Perm Outreach Phlebotomist - 40hrs Days ****Shift: 40hrs. Days Monday through Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm. 1. Location/Department: Salem Hospital. Phlebotomy. 2. Job Description: Provide Outreach Phlebotomy services for 18 Off-site phlebotomy locations (Nursing Homes Homedraws and Inpatient). Maintain established department policies and procedures objectives safety environmental and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance to established protocols. Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems. Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system. Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry. 3. Rotation Requirements: Rotate to weekends and holidays as needed. 4. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 5. Patient Population: Adult and Adolescent patients. 6. Required Credentials: Active MA Phlebotomist License Valid MA Drivers License. Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited institution.7. Other: Reliable Transportation.
