The Vessel Performance Specialist will be responsible for driving forth this purpose through the proactivemonitoring and improvement of vessel performance across Cargills chartered fleet.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee performance metrics for a segment of the fleet.
- Monitor analyse and report on performance trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure operational efficiency of the voyage.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing energy efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of digital tools.
- Assist with safety and compliance matters.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complexissues to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Marine Engineering Naval Architecture or an equivalentdiscipline.
- Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer and/or prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience in processing data and applying statistical/data analysis techniques to generate actionable vessel performance insights and recommendations is a plus.
