Job Summary
About the Role
St Leonards College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Coeducator / Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistant to join our Early Learning Centre (ELC) on a permanent parttime basis.
This role is 0.618 FTE (23.5 hours per week) and operates during term time only. You will support children aged 3 to 5 years across both the ELC and OSHC programs working within developmentally appropriate engaging and inclusive learning environments.
Reporting to the Head of the Early Learning Centre you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver highquality care supervision and learning experiences.
The hours of work are Mondays to Thursdays: 12.00pm 4.30pm and Fridays: 12.00pm 6.00pm.
What were looking for
- Certificate III in Childrens Services or a Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid (HLTAID012 or equivalent) Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
- Experience working with young children in an early learning setting (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Initiative flexibility and problemsolving skills
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check
