Middle Market Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Middle Market Commercial Lines Producer to join a well-established independent insurance agency. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in B2B sales and a passion for building lasting client relationships. The primary focus will be on middle-market accounts with opportunities to write a wide range of business lines. This position offers a hybrid work schedule competitive compensation and the chance to work with a robust carrier network.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $20000 ongoing producer salary.
- Commission Structure:
- 40% on new business.
- 30% on renewal business.
- Commission guarantee of $5000 per month for the first two years (adjustable based on experience).
- Benefits:
- 100% employer-paid medical vision and disability insurance (short-term and long-term).
- 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer match (safe harbor) with a 6% employee contribution.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule available (not fully remote).
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through networking prospecting and community involvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients carriers and business partners.
- Quote and manage new and renewal business accounts.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying additional coverage needs.
- Actively participate in community events and networking efforts to enhance visibility and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the management team and leverage inbound leads to meet production goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience:
- 35 years of B2B sales experience preferred.
- Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
- Licensure:
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred. Licensing and training will be provided if needed.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and business development skills with a hunter mentality.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HawkSoft or similar agency management systems is a plus.
