In short your role withinJungheinrichwill play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.
The Role
- Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK working at our national workshop in Warrington.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
- Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
- Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
- Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
- Carrying out repair assessments.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.
Person Requirements
- We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians HGV mobile plant forklift or ex forces military vehicle engineers.
Competencies Required
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
- Methodical approach to diagnostics
- Product knowledge (JH or similar)
- Able to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Good team worker with a can do attitude
- Able to work to deadlines
- Improvement mentality
- Attention to detail
