In short your role withinJungheinrichwill play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.

The Role

  • Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK working at our national workshop in Warrington.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
  • Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
  • Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
  • Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
  • Carrying out repair assessments.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

Person Requirements

  • We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians HGV mobile plant forklift or ex forces military vehicle engineers.

Competencies Required

  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
  • Methodical approach to diagnostics
  • Product knowledge (JH or similar)
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team worker with a can do attitude
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Improvement mentality
  • Attention to detail
