Job Description:
This Program Manager is responsible for directing the daily tasks and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.
Essential Functions:
Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion
Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders revenue recognition operating income and free cash flow for new continuing or current programs
Responsible for the cost schedule and technical performance of program
Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
Responsible for analyzing bids and assisting in the development of WBS/Deliverables/Schedule/Cashflow forecast
Coordinate the preparation of proposals business plans and performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
Act as primary customer contact for program activities
Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost schedule and technical performance to ensure seamless execution
Effectively communicates with all levels of co-workers senior management and customer
Work with Functions assigned to the program from technical manufacturing and administrative areas to identify and assist in areas of improvement for systems and processes
Travel up to 10% as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active DoD Secret (or greater) security clearance
PMP (Program Management Professional) certified
Aircraft Modification Engineering/Sustainment Planning Procurement Material Program Management or Finance background is beneficial
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Project
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
Strong and effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards
Ability to present to internal and external leadership
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New Jersey state is $90500-$168500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
