Whatdoyoubring

Positive can-do attitude
Operate hot saw and material-handling equipment
Work with the mill crane operator and material handler to pick up bars after each heat
Ensure bars are properly weighed and tagged
Dump scrap metal in correct designated areas (metal segregation required)
Assist with changing rolls and setting up all roll stands
Serve as backup for other mill operations (hot saw etc.)
Report any operational issues immediately to the mill supervisor
Stack bars on the cooling rack
Assist with loading metal into furnaces
Ability to lift push pull and carry bars weighing up to 200 lbs
Able to understand basic verbal instructions in English
Able to read and write in English as needed
Knowledge of PRP ISO procedure 751-01 (required)
Ability to read a tape measure
Forklift and crane training (required)
