Position Overview:
As an Automotive Detailer Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the department of detailers with cleaning and preparing vehicles for display delivery and customer pickup. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a passion for maintaining vehicles at the highest standard of presentation. The supervisor will also assist the detailers in thoroughly clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles including washing vacuuming polishing waxing and applying protective finishes to the exteriors and interiors of vehicles to maintain showroom quality. Pay will be based on experience!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the vehicle reconditioning detail processes and staff ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Lead a team of detailing technicians providing guidance training and support to ensure they deliver outstanding results.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies equipment and detailing products ensuring a well-stocked and efficient operation.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all vehicles undergo thorough and meticulous cleaning and detailing meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with the Body Shop Manager and Used Car Sales manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance buyers and customer satisfaction and improve operational efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries concerns and complaints in a prompt and professional manner striving to achieve optimal resolution and client retention.
- Oversee Daily scheduling of employees and vehicles in process Maintain accurate records of daily operations tracking sheets employee attendance and performance evaluations of employees within that department.
- The supervisor Reports directly to Body Shop Manager and Used Car Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the carwash/detailing industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Solid knowledge of car cleaning and detailing techniques equipment and products.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient computer skills for record-keeping and data analysis.
