This role will operate in a fast-paced agile environment managing multiple initiatives of varying complexity with minimal supervision. Success will depend on strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders within Scotia iTRADE and across Wealth and Retail Banking.
Major Accountabilities:
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships andleveragebroader Bank relationshipssystemsand knowledge.
Isaccountable for all aspects ofiTRADEproduct and platform managementand growth strategy including P&L management product strategy pricing and offersmarket dataclientprogramsclient educationplatformcapabilities and hybrid advice.
P&L Management:Work with Finance partners to manage theiTRADEProfit and Loss statement including setting financial goals/targets andmanaging tothose targets.
Product Strategy:Maintaina best-in-class product offering through continuous shelf optimization. Develop new product capabilities and offerings inpartnershipswithGlobal Investment Solutions Global Banking & Markets and Global Asset Management.Continuously innovate to meet changing client needs and keep up with industry trends.
Pricing and Offers:Develop and continuouslyoptimizea growth-oriented pricing strategy that aligns with Retail and Wealth segmented pricing. Manageandgrow ouracquisition and engagement campaigns through competitive analysisoffer testsandmarketing &leads optimization in partnership with Wealth and Retail Analytics GlobalMarketingand our Retail Branch partners.
Client Programs:Manage andoptimizeoursuite ofclient programsincluding but not limited toiCLUB Commission-Free ETFs Retail & Wealth Bundles through client&competitive research andimpact analytics. Ensure alignment between program offerings and updated client segmentation. Stayup-to-dateonchanging industry and competitive landscapeand evolve our offering tomaintaindifferentiation within the market.
Client Education:Build andmaintaina best-in-class client education programthroughcustomized contentchannel optimizationstrategiesand effective client engagement.
Market Data:Maintaina robustmarket data offering for clients whileoptimizingcosts through active vendor management. Stay informed of evolving data landscape and continuously assess our offering against best-in-class US and Canadian platforms.
Platform Capabilities and Usage:In partnership with Wealth Digital continue to evolve our online and web trading platforms to ensurean optimalclient experience. Continuously innovate across our platforms to improvethe clientexperience and improve our competitive positioning.
Hybrid Advice:Develop a hybrid advice offering foriTRADEclients that is integrated into the broader Scotia ecosystem through partnership with Retail Investments Retail DistributionGlobal Wealth Solutions Canadian Wealth ManagementDigitalandTechnology.
Leverage data and analytics to understand client and marketbehaviours. Work with distributionmarketingand analytics partners to build andmaintainperformance reporting trackers.
Play a key role in developing and executing a multi-year strategy to grow ScotiabanksDirect Investing businessby partnering with multiple stakeholders acrossRetail Digital Analytics Technology Marketing andWealth.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areasin accordance withScotiabanks Values its Code ofConductand the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational compliance AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education/Work Experience/Designations:
Minimum of 10yearssupervisory and senior management experience working in the financial services industry with preference of retail online brokerage background.
Previousexperience with sales product and marketinganasset
Previousproduct management and digital strategy experiencerequired
Proven ability to drive revenue generation
Partners Directors and Officers Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook an asset.
Expert knowledge of the regulatory environments applicable to the investment management industry
Strong knowledge of the technological platforms underlying the online brokerage industry and how they support deliverydistributionand client experience
Strong knowledge of the domestic online brokerage industry including productsmarketsand risk management practices
Requires strong leadership skills with extensive experience leading teams.
Must be highly motivated and able to influence and motivate others
Superior independent problem-solving skills and sound judgment
Requires ability to work collaboratively within and across business units to achieve results
Establishedtrack recordof performance and professional credibility.
