About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker you will be dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals in your local community. We are looking for candidates that are located in and available to work in the Nerang area. We have casual positions available with flexible hours where you will provide active person centred support to people with disabilities. You will be working in our Supported Independent Living Program (SIL) and will be required to provide transportation in your own vehicle so a valid Australian Drivers Licence and your own registered and insured vehicle is a requirement.
We have casual opportunities to work throughout the week including sleepover shifts and weekends. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Positive Behaviour Support Plans and managing challenging behaviours. We are looking for candidates that have experience working in the Disability industry and that are eager to make a difference and help the people we support to live their best lives.
This position is a female gender-identified role permitted under the relevant state or territory anti-discrimination legislation as a genuine occupational requirement to support the safety wellbeing and expressed needs of the person being supported.
