Job Summary
Detailed Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage German VAT and indirect tax compliance including filings and coordination with tax authorities
- Support month-end and year-end close including journals accruals and prepayments
- Prepare financial statements P&L balance sheets and management reports
- Support internal and external audits and respond to audit queries
- Coordinate payroll-related financial inputs and employee cost data in collaboration with HR
- Work closely with Finance leadership and internal stakeholders across functions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant
- Strong knowledge of German VAT / indirect tax regulations
- Solid understanding of GAAP / IFRS
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Fair to good German language skills (working proficiency required)
- Strong communication skills and a structured detail-oriented working style
