- Solutions Architect (Software Implementation)
- We are looking for a Solutions Architect tojoin our Customer Experience Team andwork alongsideProject ManagersCSMs SalesTechand Supporttodeliver a seamless implementation experience to ourCustomers. You will effectively manage post-contract integration projects across a variety of platforms meeting agreedtimelinesand maximizing customer satisfaction. You will be working alongside an established team of other solution architects with various backgrounds inlogisticsand technology.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Lead API Solution Design phases for customer implementations translating business requirements into scalable secure and performant technical architectures aligned with project44 best practices.
- Own and produce Implementation Design Documents (IDDs) including system architecture API flows data mappings dependencies assumptions and risks.
- Act as the technical authority for customersprovidinghands-on guidance and troubleshooting throughout implementation with a broad and deep understanding of project44 APIs products and integrations.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Product and Technical Support teams tovalidatedesigns resolve technical blockers and influence product improvements based on customer feedback.
- Support and coordinate System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) ensuring solutions meet functional performance and reliability requirements.
- Lead technical readiness for Go-Live including cutover planning validation and post-deployment checks.
- Provide Hypercare support post-launch proactivelymonitoringintegrations resolving issues quickly and ensuring customer stability and satisfaction.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customer technical teams and internal stakeholders ensuring clear communication expectation management and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply light project management skills to manage timelines dependencies and deliverables; track work using time-tracking tools and manage tasks and issues viainternalsystems (e.g. Jira ZendeskRocketlane).
- Contribute toprocess improvement documentation standards and reusable solution patterns to improve scalability and consistency across implementations.
- Support pre-sales or discovery activities as needed by providing technical input solution feasibility assessments and implementation estimates.
- Facilitate standard project managementmethodologyfor all implementations including but not limited to:
- Leadingtechnicalkick-off calls
- Technical deep dive review the APIs in detail consulting with customer to provide best practices and most efficient set up of the APIs
- Providing input on test plans and training
- Weekly status meetings weekly calls with customers to review progress obstacles upcoming tasks etc.
- Post-implementation hyper care ensure the implementation is a success before transitioning the account to our customer success team.
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);Spanish and Italianlanguage skills are a strong plus.
- 35 years of customer-facing experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Customer integrations and technical implementations
- Software or SaaS systems delivery
- Supply chain transportation orlogisticstechnology integrations
- Proven experience working with API and delivery tools such as PostmanObserve JIRA Confluence and Microsoft Office (or equivalent productivity tools).
- Strong ability to proactivelyidentify assess and clearly communicate technical risks dependencies and opportunities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment balancing multiple customers priorities and timelines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support customer engagements and on-site activities asrequired.
- Experience integrating with or supporting TMS and ERP systems is highly desirable.
