Job Description:
This Senior Specialist Project Manager will establish and maintain multiple projects required for the Proprietary modification programs. This candidate will have knowledge of aircraft production aircraft requirements and project management that includes directing complex projects and ongoing administrative functions of the program initiatives while adhering to contractual obligations and subsequent reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Works with Functions assigned to the program from technical manufacturing and administrative areas to identify areas of improvement for systems and processes.
- Communicates with all levels of co-workers senior management and customer.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program maintenance activities leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost and technical performance to ensure seamless execution.
- Assist in preparation of proposals and specifications of contract for periodic maintenance aircraft requirements and other aircraft configuration paperwork.
- Drives all phases of aircraft requirements and modification installation planning and execution from inception through completion.
- Set goals and empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments.
- Assist leadership in identifying program growth opportunities in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers.
- Demonstrated verbal written and interpersonal communication skills that will facilitate in creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment which includes providing decisive and constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values and general aviation quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Demonstrate MS Office Tools including MS Project.
- Demonstrate experience with SAP (or other ERP system).
- Demonstrate experience in Manufacturing/Aircraft Maintenance preferred.
