Job Description

At Aperia we rely on a dynamic team of developers. Were seeking a Talend Engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization thats always pushing boundaries.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend for transformation and aggregation.
• Build and optimize SQL queries and data models in Oracle.
• Deploy data pipelines infrastructure and artifacts as code; incorporate CI/CD and test-driven practices.
• Troubleshoot and provide production support for data load transformation and translation issues.
• Write unit tests for transformations and aggregations and participate in peer code reviews.
• Translate BI and reporting requirements into database and reporting designs.
• Estimate work communicate technical status to stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Minimum BTech/B.E. in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in Talend or an ETL Tool.
• Strong handson experience with Relational Database like Oracle.
• Extensive SQL expertise and experience writing complex queries for analytics workloads.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and platforms.
• Linux knowledge and scripting experience.
• Good communication skills.

Things that will separate you from the rest

• Experience with developing data pipelines for ingestion processing and storage of large datasets
• Handson experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience in providing Production support
