Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Product Designer
Location: Beaverton OR United States 97005 (Contractor Hybrid position)
Compensation:Pay Rate: USD $53.33 / hr
Location: Onsite at PHK (traditional hybrid model with Fridays remote)
Org/Team Info: Global football / Footwear design for LA Olympics
Education: Bachelors degree required in Design (3-4 years of footwear design experience)

Summary / Job Description
Non-negotiables - Top 3 skills:
Excellent footwear knowledge and experience in product design
Experience in performance footwear and proficiency in Illustrator Photoshop 3D software
Candidate is open and brings creativity to the team (curious)
Previous Nike experience is not required (accepting local candidates only).
Advanced Product Designer
Deliver product vision and point of view for seasonal projects aligned to creative direction & project briefs
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Create original product designs or refresh existing products with supervision from Design leadership
Execute base track and more long track design solutions (broad range of product price points and model types)
Active and proficient participant in the creative process and cross-functional communication
Communicate and present design concepts to internal and external audiences
Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with key partners

Requirements
Education:
BA/BFA/MA/MFA preferred
Associate Degree preferred
Experience:
Preferred design experience: 5-7 years
Creative experience (consumer/segment/dimensions)
Knowledge of creative culture
Functional Skills:
Digital design acumen (design-based software needed: Creative Suite)
Preferred knowledge and experience with advanced digital tools / 3D skills
Expert of make and manufacturing
Proficient presentation & communication skills
Proficient design skills brief to presentation to manufacturing
Proficient creative process
Basic business context
Basic understanding of insights
