Job Summary
As a Senior Java Cloud Developer you will join our multinational team of experienced developers. You will contribute to building and improving our ReadID SaaS platform focusing on secure scalable and high performance server development. Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our Identity SaaS server with security and scalability in mind.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by adding new features and integrating partner solutions such as facial recognition technologies.
- Support external developers using the Identity API particularly the serverside REST XML and JSON interfaces.
- Create and maintain clear API documentation for customers and partners.
- Participate in automated testing to ensure reliability and quality.
- Optionally contribute to analytics projects DevOps/CloudOps initiatives or backend optimisation efforts.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with colleagues and customers from around the world.
- Work in a hybrid model spending at least two days per week in our office in Enschede.
What Were Looking For:
- A degree (MSc or BSc) in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Security or a related field.
- A minimum of seven years of professional experience in Java serverside development.
- Strong knowledge of Java EE / Jakarta Spring REST XML and JSON.
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins) containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms like AWS.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL or Oracle.
- An understanding of security principles and familiarity with OWASP guidelines.
- Fluent English skills both written and spoken.
- Strong advantages: Experience with the ELK stack and/or frontend technologies (JavaScript CSS Angular).
