Support Workers/Care Team required to join our growing care Team for our clients all across outer South East Melbourne Mornington Peninsula - including Somerville in Melbournes South East.
Multiple shift types are available and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required for the client.
Some shifts require the ability to work weekday morning shifts (e.g 7-9am) and then return later in the afternoon for a second shift period (e.g 3-7pm).
Experience with children with Autism and mild behaviours of concern essential.

Casual roles are now available and we are also happy to partner with independent contract carers who love being self-employed but also love having regular secure work by partnering with a larger service provider.

Requirements
To be considered in this role we require you to hold:
Certificate IV in Disability Community Service Aged Care
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
First Aid certificate and CPR
NDIS Workers Orientation (preferred)
Eligibility to work in Australia
Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence
Current full Drivers license
Competencies and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role Minimum of 6 months relevant experience
Previous experience supporting People with Disability.
Demonstrated proficient written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to prioritise effectively and organise own work / caseload.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Comfortable to transport children in own vehicle (boosters/car seats can be supplied)
