Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda Kenya Tanzania Rwanda and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client SINOPEC we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced Lifting Supervisor to work at Site in Uganda

Key Responsibilities

Plan supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site.

Ensure lifting equipment and accessories are inspected and certified before use.

Verify ground conditions lifting plans and risk assessments prior to execution.

Brief rigging teams crane operators and banksmen on safe lifting procedures.

Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Report and investigate any unsafe acts near misses or incidents during lifting.

Liaise with site management crane operators and riggers to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain proper documentation of lifting plans permits and inspection records.

Ensure that only competent and certified personnel are engaged in lifting activities.

Stop any lifting operation that is deemed unsafe.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certified and competent Lifting Supervisor.

Minimum 3 years experience in oil & gas construction or heavy lifting operations.

Knowledge of international lifting standards (e.g. LOLER BS7121 ASME).

Strong leadership communication and safety awareness skills.

Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and load charts.
