Job Description:

Responsible for developing implementing and monitoring company environment health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal state and local environmental health and safety regulations. Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS. Assists in a variety of duties to include sampling observations training and inspections. Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Build partnerships and interact with production workers top location leadership business leadership and environment health and safety functional leadership.
  • Develop and understanding and execute environmental health and safety work processes activities and controls.
  • Review and breakdown environmental operating construction and other permits and identify compliance demonstration requirements activities and tasks and deploy and execute the compliance demonstration program.
  • Localize company and legally required processes programs and controls and integrate them into site level operating procedures tools and work instructions to standardize front line processing and monitor analyze and adjust for improved performance.
  • Conduct recordkeeping analysis and reporting duties identify improvement and risk mitigation opportunities and leverage and implement most effective technologies and improvements.
  • Support the preparation for company audits government inspections customer visits and collect data and prepare reports needed to monitor program maturity performance and compliance.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in related field or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age
