Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide services at a correctional facility in Tallahassee Florida. The ideal candidate will provide phlebotomy services at the facility while ensuring compliance with established regulations and institutional standards.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomist program.
6 months documented experience as a phlebotomist.
CPR/AED certified
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of a laboratory waiting list and place inmate on call out as needed.
Perform venipuncture from patients for analysis or other medical purposes when necessary.
Collect and process urinalysis.
Daily maintenance of laboratory equipment and advise when equipment requires professional maintenance or repair.
Biological specimen preparation and packaging for shipment to contract laboratories.
Maintenance of laboratory logs and other records as necessary for complying with CLIA guidelines.
Maintain supplies to perform phlebotomy services and advise when supplies need to be ordered.
Perform duties within the scope of the current licensure.
