About the Opportunity:
As a People & Culture Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting project and site leadership teams by delivering highquality P&C services across the employee lifecycle. This position drives culture supports workforce capability leads performance managementprocessesand oversees key operational functions such as payroll interface and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational P&Cand employee relationssupport across sitebased teams.
Proactive provision of advice and mentoring to team members frontlineleadersand craft (workforce) personnel in relation to enterprise agreement matters and industrial issues
Subcontractor assessment during tender process and setting the framework for Subcontractor mobilisation and industrial relations compliance
Managing investigations and resolutions of complex employee relations matters ina timelyand effective manner
Ability to liaise and build rapport with all levels of a construction workforce
Oversee payroll management activities ensuringaccurateprocessing and compliance with industrial instruments.
Lead and support performance management processes including coaching leaders and driving capability improvement.
Coordinate learning and development mandatorytrainingand site inductions.
Support workplace relations employment legislationcomplianceand issue resolution.
Use data and reporting to support decisionmaking and improve workforce outcomes.
Foster a strong site culture aligned with CPBs values and SHE commitments.
WhatWereLooking For:
Minimum8years experience in P&C / HR generalist roles ideally within construction or projectbased environments.
Strong capability across performance managementcoachingand employee relations.
Experience with payroll processes awardinterpretationor workforce compliance.
Excellent communication problemsolvingand stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a fastpaced site environment.
Strong understanding of employment legislation and P&C best practice.
