This position reports to:
Planning & Fulfillment ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

This role is contributing to the ABB Smart Power division at the Regional Distribution Center in Mt Juliet TN.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters including safety stock reorder point lot size lead time and replenishment strategies in the planning systems and the ERPs.
Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery Minimum Order Quantity quality lead time and flexibility.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field with 5 years relevant work experience (Materials Planning Sourcing and/or Logistics preferred). Will consider an Associates degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field with 7 years relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant work experience.
Advanced knowledge of integrated ERP systems specifically SAP.
APICS / ISM or equal supply chain certifications preferred.
Demonstrated analytical skills ability to achieve results with minimal supervision.
Strong time management and organization skills.
Clear communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel required and Power BI is a plus.
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
