Job Description:

Appliescurrent systems security engineering methods practices and technologies to the architecture design development evaluation and integration of systems and networks tomaintainsystem security. Works closely with Government customers to ensure that the security protection needs concerns and requirements are defined and implemented withappropriate fidelityand rigor early and in a sustainable manner throughout the life cycle of system that will allow for the security authorization of the system of interest. Works with systems developers or commercial product vendors in the design and evaluation ofstate-of-the-artsecure systems networks and database products. Uses methods such as encryption technology vulnerabilityanalysisand security management. Responsible for integration of multiple methods into a cohesive system security perimeter and environment and the policies and procedures necessary tomonitorand maintain such an environment. Will prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation using multiple standards under RMF andderivativeprocesses (DOD 8510 JSIG ICD-503 CNSSI 1253) to achieve security authorization of supported security needsconcernsand requirements at customer meetings.

Essential Functions:

General understanding of threats vulnerabilities and risk.

General understanding of coding with the ability to be trainedoncode analysis tools.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work across multiple teams and create standardized products.

Familiarity with Linux.

Familiarityinthe development of policies and procedures for emerging security technologies.

Support vulnerability assessment activities asrequired.

Support the evaluation qualification testing and delivery of security architecture improvement obsolescencereplacementand vulnerability response projects.

This position is performed 100% onsiteand cannot be supported remotely.

Qualifications:

To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance required.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role inColorado is $62000 MIN - $115000 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to
