Job Description:
- Responsible for performing a variety of tasks including inspection and material handling.
- Prior to shipment to L3Harris customers inspections/audits are performed on L3Harris manufactured product and OEM purchased parts to insure compliance to Sale Order requirements.
- Inspector will be required to verify quantity and accuracy of Sales Order Line Item components against the Bill of Material structures.
- Inspection results are documented electronically so computer proficiency is necessary.
- Material handling involves unpacking and re-packaging inspected material; this will include working with shipping containers pallet jacks and box tape machines.
- Personnel are required to routinely lift 25 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) experience desired
- Knowledge and usage of AGILE preferred
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and email platforms
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role inNew York state is $18.30-$33.65. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
