Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Yield Enhancement Engineer to join our dynamic semiconductor manufacturing team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a background in wafer fabrication and a keen interest in test and failure analysis. You will play a key role in improving product yield analyzing process and test data and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze wafer process data to identify yield improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis on defective wafers and devices.
  • Collaborate with process engineers and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain scripts or software tools to automate data analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to engineering and management teams.
  • Support new product introduction and process optimization projects.
  • Participate in regular yield review meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Materials Science Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Physics or related field.
  • 02 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing wafer processing or yield engineering (internships and academic projects count).
  • Basic understanding of wafer fabrication processes and semiconductor device physics.
  • Experience or coursework in failure analysis techniques (e.g. electron microscopy elemental spectroscopy electrical testing at wafer/assembly).
  • Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and yield management systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python R VBA SQL or similar) for data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/JMP) and/or machine learning.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
