About the Role
This role leads the Continuous Improvement (CI) function to drive measurable improvements in operational clinical and patient flow outcomes across the hospital. The position provides leadership to a small CI team and plays a key role in shaping and delivering the hospitals improvement agenda.
The Manager Continuous Improvement acts as a visible improvement leader building capability across the organisation maintaining a strong cadence of A3 improvement work and supporting services to embed sustainable improvement practices.
Key duties include:
Lead and manage the CI team to deliver a high-impact portfolio of improvement initiatives
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to scope structure and deliver improvement work
Maintain a strong A3 and daily management cadence with clear reporting of outcomes
Build improvement capability in the organisation through coaching and facilitation
Contribute to hospital-wide performance priorities and strategic initiatives
Your Contribution
Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement or operational improvement in a complex organisation (healthcare highly regarded)
Strong capability in structured problem solving (e.g. A3 Lean PDSA or similar)
Proven ability to influence clinical and operational stakeholders
Experience using data to inform improvement decisions
Current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain
