The OpportunityAll Aspects Motors is seeking a motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our growing team on a full time basis while working towards a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to start or continue their career in the automotive industry and learn from experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting qualified mechanics with vehicle servicing and repairs
- Performing basic servicing tasks such as oil and filter changes fluid checks and tyre rotations
- Assisting with diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults under supervision
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Inspecting brakes suspension steering and exhaust systems
- Maintaining a clean organised and safe workshop environment
- Completing job cards and basic documentation
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Attending TAFE training and applying learned skills on the job
- Providing professional and respectful customer service when required
The successful applicant will have:
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a strong willingness to learn
- A positive attitude strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic mechanical knowledge or workshop experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Punctuality and a professional attitude
- Good communication skills and respect for customers and colleagues
Essential Criteria- Current Australian drivers licence manual preferred
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry
- Willingness to undertake or currently enrolled in an automotive apprenticeship
- Commitment to TAFE and on the job training
- Pre apprenticeship or basic mechanical knowledge preferred but not essential
- Understanding of workplace health and safety
- Reliable punctual and well presented
